Gavin Nichols
Licensee Salesperson
Marlborough Real Estate Professional
Integrity, trust, and open, honest communication are the foundations of all successful working relationships, and these values sit at the heart of Gavin Nichols’ approach to real estate.
Gavin works alongside his wife of 36 years, Trina, an established salesperson with Ray White Blenheim & Picton, supporting clients as they navigate the Marlborough real estate market. Together, they bring extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of property ventures, including renovating homes, coordinating new builds, property development, and the ownership, development, and operation of a beef breeding farm and small vineyard. Having owned a number of rural properties himself, Gavin specialises in both residential and rural sales, offering clients practical, real-world insight and a proactive, can-do approach when buying or selling in Marlborough.
Before entering real estate, Gavin spent over 20 years with the New Zealand Police, the majority of that time as a Detective. A highlight of his policing career was his deployment to the Solomon Islands as part of the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI), where he worked in an advisory role alongside the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force and officers from other Pacific nations. This experience strengthened his commitment to professionalism, problem-solving, and helping others succeed.
With strong local knowledge and a people-focused mindset, Gavin is proud to assist clients with their real estate journey in the Marlborough property market, and achieving positive, well-informed real estate outcomes.
